Let’s understand the idea.
- Keep the hundreds, tens and ones connected to their values.
- If there is no ten to exchange, first exchange one hundred for ten tens. Then exchange one of those tens for ten ones.
- Every exchange keeps the value; each removal reduces it by exactly the amount removed.
